B.D. Roberts Construction, LLC. has been a licensed General Contractor in Hickory, North Carolina since 1986 working primarily in the pre-engineered metal building and roofing systems industry. Our steel building experience is diverse, working in all capacities from design, sales and construction to construction services for major manufacturers. We started BDR Construction and Consulting in 2000. Since it’s inception we have worked all over the United States, Canada, Mexico and several islands in the Caribbean, being called on to assist with projects as large as 3,000,000 SF. Our clientele includes contractors, systems manufacturers, insurance companies, attorneys, architects and owners. At present we do warranty inspections, systems reviews, roofing analysis, training seminars, quality assurance, leak investigations and roof repairs. Our company has also been used as a professional witness in several legal actions.
As members of RCI (Roof Consultants Institute) our company continues to strengthen in metal roof knowledge and performance with the utmost professional integrity.
Specifically regarding our roof warranty inspections, we presently represent several of the largest pre-engineered building system companies. These companies include American Buildings Co., Architectural Metal Systems Co., McElroy Metals, MBCI, Sheffield Metals, and A&S Buildings. Comprehensive reports include, a detailed checklist of all conditions, photographs and suggested repairs.
